Mr. and Mrs. Hutchins
Faced with the choice to decide the educational route for our three children, we pondered, prayed, and counted the cost many times before founding UHA. (Actually, that hasn't stopped.) We had school experiences that inspired and school experiences that left much to be desired. (We have school days like that still.) We've always wanted more than a "school" for our children. We want a life-giving, soul-nurturing, virtue-cultivating, book-reading, math-mastering, skill-developing, memory-making, community-experiencing, service-oriented, imaginative-playing, play-producing, bread-breaking, song-singing, real-relationship, God-fearing, praying type of school. So, with God and others, we are building it.
Like all families our story has peaks and valleys, successes and failures, wonderful testimonies and missed opportunities. And I am sure we will add more of those to our list. But in all ways, Unitas Honor Academy has been a consistent blessing to our family and many others. After the year of the pandemic, we are even more convinced that our small schoolhouse is just what some families are looking for.
We would love to swap stories with you over a cup of coffee. If you are interested in finding out more about our small school please send us an email to set up an appointment: unitashonor@gmail.com
